Snakes and Ladders, exactly as you remember it. Roll the die, climb the ladders, dodge the snakes, race to 100. No ads, no sign-in, no internet permission at all — the whole game lives on your phone.

Play solo against your own record, pass the phone around for up to four players, or fill the empty seats with CPU opponents when nobody else is nearby.

WAYS TO PLAY • Solo — one player, one board, chasing your fastest finish. • Local — 2 to 4 players sharing a single device, hot-seat style. • Vs CPU — every opponent seat played by the computer, so a game is always ready.

THREE BOARDS • Easy — gentler snakes, and you do not need an exact roll to finish. A good first board. • Classic — the traditional layout, exact finish required. • Hard — longer snakes, more of them, exact finish required. Square 99 is not your friend.

THE RULES YOU GREW UP WITH Roll a 6 and you go again. Roll three 6s in a row and that turn is forfeited. Land on the foot of a ladder and climb it; land on a snake's head and slide all the way down. On Classic and Hard you need the exact number to land on 100, so the last few squares are their own little drama.

RECORDS AND STARS Every finish is scored on your own roll count, not the table's, and each board keeps a separate record for every configuration — a fast solo Easy run will never shadow your Hard record. Finish at or under par for three stars, a little over for two. Your best rolls and best star rating are saved for each setup.

SIX THEMES Meadow, Ocean, Sunset, Midnight, Aurora and Mono. Three of them are true dark themes for late-night play, and Mono is pure black, easy on OLED screens. The chosen theme colours the entire app, status bar included, and the picker previews each one rather than listing names.

BUILT TO FEEL GOOD The die tumbles before it settles, tokens walk square by square then take the ladder or the snake, and a win throws confetti in the winner's colour. Subtle haptics on every tap, plus optional tones that are off by default. Everything is drawn on a single canvas, so it stays smooth on older phones and the download stays tiny.

NEVER LOSE A GAME Leave mid-race — a call, a notification, a closed app — and every token position, whose turn it is, and the roll count all come back exactly as you left them. Continue is waiting on the home screen.

STATS Games started, games won, and your best finish and star rating on each of the three boards, all in one tap.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN No internet permission. No ads. No accounts. No analytics. No in-app purchases. Nothing to collect, because nothing ever leaves your device. Works fully offline — on a plane, in the underground, anywhere.
